  Leader Vindicator 1944
  Catherine M. Slagle, 87, died at her home, 308 South St., Clarion, Tuesday,
  December 26, 1944, following a long illness.
  
  She was a daughter of Francis and Catherine Slagle and was born August 22, 1857.
   She was a member of the Immaculate Conception church of Clarion.
  
  Surviving are the following nephews and nieces:  William J., Francis J., John
  A., and Lawrence Slagle, Mrs. Anna Finkbinder, Cecelia Slagle,  Elizabeth
  Slagle, Mrs. Dale McCullough, Mrs. Theresa Welsh, and Mrs. Melvin Hutchison.  
  
  Requiem mass was celebrated in the Immaculate Conception church at 9 a.m.
  Friday.  Interment was made in the Catholic cemetery in Clarion.
