We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. http://www.usgwarchives.net/ Charles Haskell Smith died January 25, 1939 Charles Haskell Smith, 69, well known resident of Strattanville, died Wednesday morning, January 25, 1939, at his home. Funeral services were held Friday afternoon at 1:30 oÕclock in the M.E. church of Strattonville with the Reverend John Banks, officiating. Burial was made in the church cemetery. Mr. Smith was born at Helen furnace, October 14, 1870. In 1892 he was married to Lydia Henry. He is survived by his wife and the following children: Mrs. Mary Guiher of Canton, Ohio, and Parker Smith of Pasadena, California, one grandson, Charles Guiher of Strattanville also survives.
