We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ Last Will & Testament of Christian Rhodes I Christian Rhodes of Redbank Township Clarion County being weak of body but of sound and disposing mind and retentive memory and giving the uncertainty of life and being desirous to settle my worldly affairs while so capacitated I constitute this my last will and testament. And first and principally I will my soul to God who gave it trusting in his son's merit for salvation and my body to the dust to be decently interred. Second to my son Henry I bequeath a tract of land containing one hundred acres more or less situated in Redbank Township joining lands of Abraham Rhodes, George Frazier and John Algo for which said Henry Rhodes is to pay to the heirs or assignees of said Christian Rhodes the sum of three hundred-fifty dollars on the first day of June 1849, and fifty dollars on the first day of June 1850, and fifty dollars on the first day of June 1851 and the balance on the first days of June 1852 and there on equal payments of one hundred dollars each. And to my wife Eliabeth, I bequeath my household furniture and one cow, and the remaining of my personal effects. I bequeath to my several children share and share alike. And further I appoint my son Abraham Rhodes executor of this my last will and testament.
