We encourage links to the state and county table of contents. ____________________________________________________________ Last Will and Testament of John Warnock, Sr. I, John Warnock of Red Bank, Clarion County, Penna., do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking and making void all former wills by me at any time heretofore made; First I direct that my body be decently interred in the burying ground of the Zion Church of Shannondale in said Township according to the rites and ceremonies of the Presbyterian Church and that my funeral be conducted in a manner corresponding with my estate and situation in life; And as to such worldly estate as it hath pleased God to intrust me with, I dispose of the same as follows: First, I direct that all my debts and funeral expenses be paid as soon after my decease as possible out of the first monies that shall come into the hands of my executors from any portion of my estate, real or personal; And that all the real estate of which I shall die seized or possessed shall be sold by my executors for its reasonable value and after all debts are paid and head stones for these graves, and the burying expenses paid also; The remainder if any thereby be divided share and share alike between my eight children: namely, Mary Peoples, wife of Robít Peoples, William A. Warnock, Martha McElhoes, wife of Irad McElhoes, George Warnock, Annie Osborne, wife of Benjamin Osborne, John Warnock, Fanny Warnock & Nancy P. Warnock. I also bequeath to Fanny Warnock one cow and four sheep and to Nancy P. Warnock one cow and four sheep. And I do hereby make and ordain William Warnock and Samuel Peoples, Executors of this my last Will and Testament. In witness whereof, I, John Warnock, Sr., the testator, have to this my will written on one sheet of paper, set my hand and seal this Twenty (20) fourth day of March, AD 1877. Nail, Register for the Probate of Wills and granting letters of administration in and for the County of Clarion, personally came A. G. Truitt and S. M. Heller, the subscribing witnesses to the foregoing Will who being duly sworn according to law, do say that they were present and saw and heard John Warnock, Sr., late of Red Bank Township, deceased, the testator therein named, sign, seal, publish and pronounce and declare the foregoing instrument of writing as and for his last Will and Testament and that at the time of so doing he was of sound mind, memory and understanding to the best of their knowledge and belief. Clarion County, SS We do swear that as executors of the foregoing last Will and Testament of John Warnock, Sr., deceased, we will well and truly administer the goods and chattels, gifts and credits of said deceased according to law and diligently and faithfully so guard and will and truly comply with the provisions of the law relating to collateral inheritances.
