Dolby late of Highland Township Deceased. The Petition of Amos L. Dolby respectfully showeth that William L. Dolby was a resident of Clarion County, State of Pennsylvania and a citizen of the U.S. and departed this life at the Oil City Hospital, Oil City, in the County of Venango and State of Pennsylvania, on the 25th day of March A.D. 1936 at 1:00 o’clock P.M. Grace Coffey daughter Titusville, PA Mrs. James Reighart daughter Strattenville, PA The said intestate was possessed of Goods, Chattels, Right and Credits to the value of $37.52 and of no real estate ( less incumberances) to the value of___and an near as can be ascertained, situate as follows: Note:- The above personal proverty consists of proceeds of Old Age Pension due decedent by the Commonwealth of Penn’a. Therefore the said Amos L. Dolby whose P.O. address is Clarion, Pa. respectfully applies for Letters of Administration upon the Goods, Chattels, Rights and Credits of which said decedent died possessed. Dated May 11, 1936 A.D. -Amos L. Dolby CLARION COUNTY,SS: Amos L. Dolby named in the above application, being duly sworn according to law says that the matters and things set forth in the foregoing Petition are true to the best of his knowledge and belief. Sworn and subscribed before me this 11th -Amos L. Dolby day of May A.D. 1936 Wm. H. Thompson Register Know all Men by These Presents That WE Amos L. Dolby, Principal and Jas. E. Reaghart, Lenora Reaghart and John M. Myers as sureties are held and firmly bound unto the commonwealth of Pennsylvania in the sum of seventy Five ($75.00) Dollars to be paid to the said commonwealh; to which payment well and truly to be made, we bind ourselves jointly and severally for and in the whole, our heirs, executors and administrators, successors and assigns, firmly by these presents. sealed with our seal, and dated the 18th day of May A.D., 1936. The condition of this obligation, is That if the above bounden Administrator of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of William L. Dolby deceased, do make our cause to be made, a true and perfect inventory of all and singular the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased, which have come, or shall come to the hands and possession or knowledge of Amos L. Dolby the said Administrator or into the hands or possession of any other person or persons, for him and the same so made, do exhibit or cause to be exhibited into the Register’s Office, in the county of Clarion, within thirty days of the date hereof, and the same goods, credits and all other, the goods, chattels and credits of the said deceased at the time of his death which at any time after shall come to the hands or possession of the said Administrator aor into the hands or possession of any other person or persons for him do well and truly administer according to law and further do make or cause to be made, a just and true account of his said administration at the expiration of six months from the date hereof, or when hereunto legally required, and all the rest and residue, of the said goods, chattels and credits, which shall be found remaining upon the said administrators account, the same being first examined and allowed by the Orphans’ Court by their decree or sentence pursuant to law, shall limit and appoint, and shall well and truly comply with the laws of this comonwealth relating to collateral (and/or direct) inheritance, and if it shall hereafter appear that any last will or Testament was made by the deceased, and the same shall be proved according to law, if the said Administraator being thereunto required, do surrender the said Letters of Administration into the Register’s office aforesaid, then this obligation to be void, otherwise to remain in full force.
