  W. Clarence Pentz was born in Brady township, Clearfield 
county, May 9, 1858; read law with Frank Fielding, Esq., of 
Clearfield, and was admitted to the bar in September, 1882.  
Mr. Pentz began practice at DuBois, August 15, 1883.
