Business Interests—varied, Coal mining, and manufacture of lumber and leather most prominent. Has B., R. P. car shops, furniture and casket factory, machine shop, lanplaninglls, hosiery factory, broom factory, tinning establishments, brewery and minor industries. Gray and blue stone, glass sand and brick and fire clay obtained in vicinity. Four public schools. Eleven churches. Y. M. C. A. Opera house. Lotus hall. Morning, evening and weekly newspapers.
