B. Kuhn to Howard G. Ross etal This deed, made the twentieth day of April in the year Nineteen Hundred and thirty two between G. B. Kuhn, widower, of the Borough of Clearfield, County of Clearfield and state of Pennsylvania, party of the first part and Howard G. Ross and Ann Ross, husband and wife, of the same place, parties of the second part. Witnesseth that in consideration of One ($1.00) Dollars in hand paid, the receipt whereof is hereby acknowledged, the said grantor does hereby grant and convey to the said grantees, their heirs and assigns. All that certain lot of land situated in the Borough of Clearfield, County of Clearfield and state of Pennsylvania, and bounded and described as follows, viz: Beginning at a post on Nichols Street, a corner of lot formerly of C. A. Nelson, now owned by George W. Gaylor, thence South along his lot one hundred and forty (140) feet to a ten foot alley; thence west along said alley forty five (45) feet to post corner of lot formerly of Jasper Ogden, now owned by William G. Baumgartner, being lot No. 21 ½; thence North along his lot one hundred and forty (140) feet to a post at Nichols Street; thence East along said Street forty five (45) to place of beginning being known as lot No. twenty one (21) in the division into lots made by Mary H. Brown of a part of a larger tract of land known as Purpart No.l two (2) in the estate of Jonathan Nichols, deceased. Being the same premises which Anna E. Haney and J. L. Haney her husband, by deed dated the 6th day of April 1903 and recorded at Clearfield, Pennsylvania, in deed book No. 133, page 66, granted and conveyed to Elizabeth E. Matthew; and the said Elizabeth Matthew having later died intestate her heirs did by deed dated the 9th day of June 1911, recorded at Clearfield, Pennsylvania, in Deed Book No. 184, page 545 grant and convey the same to G. B. Kuhn, the grantor herein. And the said grantor, does hereby covenant and agree to and with the said grantees that he the grantor, his heirs, executors and administrators shall and will speciall (sic) warrant and forever defend the herein above described premises, with the hereditaments and appurtenances, unto the said grantees, their heirs and assigns against the said grantor, and against every other person lawfully claiming or who shall hereafter claim the same or any part thereof.
