May 13, 1857 Last Wednesday the body of a man was drifted out on some brush somewhere in the neighborhood of Moore's, in Clinton county, which has been identified as that of Mr. James Flannegan, of this place, who was drowned at the "Big Pitch," on Easter Sunday. The body, we believe, was interred at the place where it was found. Moore's is about 36 miles from the place where Mr. Flannegan was drowned.
