MARIE BRYAN Mrs. D. Marie Bryan, 78, District heights, Berkshire, Md., formerly of Tyrone, died Monday, March 13, 2000, at Washington Hospital Center. She was born July 31, 1921, in Tyrone, the daughter of Daniel and Catherine (Lewis) Roberts. She married Robert M. Bryan in 1946. He died April 11, 1978. Mrs. Bryan was a member of United Presbyterian Church, Clinton, Md., and when in Tyrone, a member of Wesley United Methodist Church. She retired as a supervisor from AT&T and had been employed as an operator with Bell Telephone In Tyrone. Mrs. Bryan was a 1939 graduate of Tyrone High School. Surviving are two sons: Timothy R. of Bryan in Ohio, and Michael L. of District Heights, Md.; two brothers: William of Leesburg, Fla., and Lee of Erie; a sister, Betty J. Fasick of Tyrone; and a grandson. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. Saturday at Blair Memorial Park Chapel, Bellwood. Arrangements are by Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone. BRYAN – A memorial service for D. Marie Bryan will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Blair Memorial Park Chapel, Bellwood, with the Rev. Charles A. Fitzgerald officiating. Interment will be made at Blair Memorial Park Cemetery. Friends will be received from 3 to 5 p.m. Thursday at Lee Funeral Home, Clinton, Md., and 10:30 to 11 a.m. Saturday at Blair Memorial Park Chapel, Bellwood. She is also survived by daughter-in-law. Patricia Ann of Ohio; and grandson, Franklin Robert Bryan. She was preceded in death by a brother and two sisters. Contributions in her memory may be made to Wesley United Methodist Church Memorial Fund, 1200 Logan Ave., Tyrone. Arrangements are by Richard H. Searer Funeral Home Inc., Tyrone.
