He leaves a family of four, Lyman having died at the age of 21. M.S. living on a farm near Sabula, Adam living at Narrows Creek, James at Sabula, Mrs. Lizzie Stafford living at Brooks. The funeral was largely attended as his friends were numerous. He belonged to the M.E. church and passed home to his reward May 2, 1900. The funeral services were held at the Hickory church in charge of Rev. Shindledecker and undertaker Flegal. He reached the ripe old age of 70 years, 11 months and 14 days. Interment was made in the Conoway cemetery May 4.
