Clearfield Republican, 15 Mar 1901
Mrs. Ella Farewell died Monday morning, March 11, 1901, after an illness of a
year.  Her death was due primarily to Asthma.  She was born October 10, 1873,
the eldest daughter of John and Lizzie Sterling.  She married F. Cline Farewell
December 21, 1898.  She will be buried from the M.E. Church here, Wednesday
afternoon.  While she clung to life very tenaciously, and was loth to leave the
fond husband and friends behind, yet she entered the dark valley without fear. 
Her sister Medie Sterling preceded her in death to the other world January 15. 
These irrepairable losses fall very heavily on the two families.
