Fargo, one of the oldest citizens of Lawrence township, died last Tuesday at the home of his son, Walter R. Fargo, in Lawrence township, of paralysis, aged upwards of 68 years. He was stricken with paralysis Tuesday morning and died at 10:30 at night, having lived but twelve hours after the attack. Deceased was born at Monterey, Massachusetts. and after residing in Centre County for some time came to Clearfield county about 25 years ago and had made his home in the county ever since. His wife died some five or six years after he came to this county, and he never married again. He is survived by one sister, Mrs. R. J. Houston, of Nevada City, California, as well as two sons, Walter R. of Lawrence township, and J.W. Fargo, of Gazzam, and two daughters, Mrs. Harris, of Houtzdale, and Mrs. Stanton of Smethport, McKean county, Pa. The funeral was held Friday afternoon, services by Rev. L.M.
