Persons or organizations desiring to use this material, must obtain the written consent of the contributor, or the legal representative of the submitter. ******************************************************************* WILLIAM PERRY FISHER born September 14, 1879 in Clearfield County, died at 6:15 a.m. June 8, 1942 in his late home, 334 Oak Street, Indiana. He was was the son of Jared and Tabitha (Mains) Fisher. He spent most of his life in Indiana County living at his present address for the past twenty-one years. For the past nine years he worked for the borough of Indiana. The deceased was a member of the Church of God. In 1900 he married Ida Fetterman who survives him. Two sons: Alvie E. & Ernest J. both of Indiana, and two daughters: Mrs. Edgar Beatty of Indiana, R.D. and Mrs. Martha Shunkwiler of Indiana, survive, also ten grandchildren, four brothers: Samuel Fisher of Indiana, Henry Fisher of Gallitzen, Wilson and Lemuel Fisher of Glen Campbell and one sister, Mrs. Mary Filler of Rossiter, survive. One brother, John Fisher, and two sisters: Mrs. Edith Strawcutter and Miss Lulu Fisher, are deceased. Funeral services will be conducted in his late home, Wednesday at 3:00 p.m. in charge of Rev. James A. Hepburn and interment will be in Oakland Cementary. Friends will be received at the late home after 7:00 o'clock this evening.
