Helen Frano

A long-time resident, Mrs. Helen M. Frano, of Brockway, R.D. died in the Maple
Avenue Hospital Wednesday morning, February 17, 1971.  She was born November 11,
1886 in Czechoslovakia.  She married Frank J. Frano in St. Joseph's Church,
DuBois.  The couple resided in DuBois till 1920 when they moved to R.D. 2 Brockway.

Mrs. Frano was a member of the St. Tobias Church.  She is survived by the
following children:  Frank, Steve and Ann Frano all of R.D. 2 Brockway; Joseph,
Nevada; Paul, Connecticut; Mrs. Frances Dugan, St. Mary's; Mrs. Helen Niziol,
DuBois; Margaret Radgick, R.D.2 Reynoldsville.  She was preceded in death by her
husband in 1967 and a son, John, in 1943.

Seven grandchildren also survive.  Funeral mass will be held at 9 am on Saturday
at the St. Tobias Church with Rev. Frank Zacharewicz officiating.  Friends will
be received after 7 pm Thursday evening.
