He would have celebrated his 92nd birthday next February. The deceased had been a resident of Clearfield County for the past 35 years and died after a lingering illness due to complications common to advanced age. Death occurred at the home of his son, David Gearhart, who lives on what is known as the Smiley Farm between Luthersburg and Helvetia. His wife preceded him to the grave in 1912, and the following sons and daughters survive: George T., of Chestnut Grove; David, of Brady Township; Mrs. H. B. Tubbs, of Luthersburg; Mrs. J. D. Weaver, of Burnside; H. M., of Luthersburg; Mrs. H. C. Marsh, of DubBois, R.D. 2; Mrs. Alfred Gearhart, of Rockton, and B. F. of DuBois, R.D. 2. Four grandchildren also survive. Funeral Services will be held at the bereaved home on Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, Mr. Roy Condi, of DuBois, officiating, and burial will be made in the Luthersburg Cemetery. George was living in Indiana County during the census years of 1860 and 1870, before moving his family to Porter Twp. Jefferson County. John then went on to move to Clearfield County, PA.
