MRS. MARY GEARHART

   GRAMPIAN - Mrs. Mary Gearhart 76, well known resident of the Grampian 
section, died at 4:40 a.m. yesterday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Merle 
Bennett, here after an illness of five days.
   She was born in Porter, PA., April 13, 1872 and was the daughter of  
Hartman and Susan (Wineberg) Beam.
   She is survived by 86 direct descendants, including 23 great 
grandchildren, 53 grandchildren and the following children: Alfred, Rockton; 
Mrs. Isabell Mitchell, Surveyor; Mrs. Lena Nillson, Grampian; Mrs. Della 
Aurand, Luthersburg;  Jacob and James and Mrs. Kathryn Bennett, all of 
Grampian; Mr. Mary Bennett and Mrs. Clair Bennett, both of Luthersburg and 
John, of Magador, Ohio.  One sister, Mrs. Laura Gearhart also survives.
   Funeral services will be held Friday afternoon at 1:30 o'clock at the 
Chestnut Grove Church with Rev. James A. Farrar in charge.  Burial will be 
in the Chestnut Grove Cemetery.
   Friends may call at the Merle Bennett home in Grampian.
