Clearfield Progress, Nov 9, 1925
Adam Howard Goos, son of Mrs. Margaret Good, of Spruce street, died at his 
home in Altoona early Sunday morning of cancer.  

He was born May 23, 1887.  Surviving are his wife, Pearl Good and three 
children, Ada, Frances and Alfred, all at home, and Howard Waple, a step son.  
In addition to his mother, one brother James White, also survives.  

He was a member of the I.O.O.F lodge and encampment,the P.R.R. relief, and 
other organizations.  Funeral services will be held at the home in Altoona at 
7:30 Tuesday evening, conducted by the Rev. B.A. Salter, Ph.D. pastor of 
Simpson Methodist Episcopal church.  On Wednesday morning the body will be 
taken overland to Bigler, Clearfield county, for burial.  

Additional Comments:
Mr. Good was first married to Tressa Dee Shugarts 1890-1917, daughter of 
George Shugarts, and they had the children: Ida Margaret, David Alfred, & 
Frances.
