He was born in Hollidaysburg on October 5, 1861, and at the time of death was aged 55 years, 1 month and 23 days. He was united in marriage to Miss Mary Kruise, of St. Lawrence, Cambria county, and to this union were born nine children, seven of whom are living, as follows: Mrs. Rose Lightner and George, of Hollidaysburg; Frank, Marie, Edmund, Margaret and Genevieve, at home. He is also survived by four sisters: Mrs. Mary Bichler, of Altoona; Mrs. Rose Dress, of Wilkes-Barre; Mrs. Catherine Horning, of Hollidaysburg; Mrs. Maggie Moore, of New York. Deceased was one of Coalport's best citizens and a devout member of St. Basil's Roman Catholic church. The remains will be brought to the home of his sister, Mrs. Horning, on Union street. The funeral arrangements will be announced later. Altoona Tribune, Altoona, Pa., Tuesday Morning, December 12, 1916 Funeral Notices The body of John Grenader [sic], who died at his home in Coalport on Monday, will arrive here today and be taken to the home of his sister, Mrs. Martin Horning, on Union street. The funeral services will be held at St. Michael's Catholic church on Thursday morning at 9 o'clock. Interment will be made in St. Mary's cemetery. John Greinader's Funeral The funeral of John Greinader, a native of Hollidaysburg, who died on Tuesday at his home in Coalport, took place yesterday morning at St. Michael's Roman Catholic church at 9 o'clock, the services being conducted by Rev.
