GROE - A young man named Andrew G. Groe, about eighteen years old, met with a 
fatal accident a few days since, in Clearfield county. He with several 
others, was engaged in " breaking a log landing" near Swartz's mill on the 
Moshannon, when a number of logs suddenly started and rolled over him, injuring him to 
such an extent that he died the following day.
