Death of Mrs. Sophia Haney.
Mrs. Sophia Haney, mother of Mrs. John F. Roger, of Tyrone, passed away at the 
home of her daughter, Mrs. Patrick Dugan, at Houtzdale on Saturday, April 18, 
of internal disease and was buried Tuesday morning at nine o’clock from the St. 
John’s Catholic church at Houtzdale.  Interment in the Catholic cemetery at 
Houtzdale.  Mrs. Haney was aged about 65 years and leaves the following 
children to mourn her death:  Mrs. Patrick Dugan, Houtzdale; Mrs. J. F. Roger, 
Tyrone, and Peter Haney, of Osceola Mills.  Mrs. Haney was a sincere christian 
woman and respected by all who had the pleasure of her acquaintance.
