Former Resident of DuBois Died at Clymer

Word has been received from Clymer, Indiana county, of the death of Howell
Harris, a former resident of DuBois.  He died on June 12.  Mr. Harris was born
in Wales, February 25, 1851.  He came to this country with his parents in 1862.
 Of recent years he made his home with his daughter in Clymer.  The deceased was
married to Miss Jane Crooks, who preceded him to the grave sixteen years ago. 
Their union was blessed with eight children, five of whom are dead and three
living as follows:  Mrs. Andrew Holmes and Mrs. Lloyd Baxter, both of Clymer,
and Edward Harris of Juneau, Pa.  He is also survived by two brothers, Reese
Harris of DuBois and Edward Harris of Sagamore.

Funeral services were held in Clymer last evening.  The remains with the funeral
party will arrive in DuBois at 11:40 this morning over the B. R. & P.  The
remains will be taken from the train to the Rumbarger cemetery, where interment
will be made.
