She was born in Durham, England, on October 4, 1859, coming to this city 42 years ago, where she has since resided. The deceased is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Truman Wall, of this city; two sisters, Mrs. McCormick, Punxsutawney, Mrs. Mary Ann Kramer, Homestead, and John, of Pittsburgh. Seven grandchildren, also survive. The funeral cortege will leave the home at 1:00 and services will be held from the Salvation Army Citadel at 1:30 o'clock this afternoon. Interment will be made in the Rumbarger Cemetery. Additional Comments: DuBois Daily Express Tues., 4 Sep 1928, p.8 Short Illness is Fatal for Local Woman Mrs. Kathryn Harris, for the past forty years a resident of DuBois, died at her home on Willilams street, Saturday morning shortly after 9 o'clock, following an illness of several weeks. She was well known in DuBois and her death was learned with keen regret by her many friends. Unreadable line... Funeral services were held yesterday from the Salvation Army citadel and interment made in the Rumbarger Cemetery. She is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Truman Wall, of this city, two sisters, Mrs. McCormick, Punxsutawney; Mrs. Mary Kramer, Homestead, and two brothers, Michael, of Homestead, and John of Pittsburgh. Interment was made in the West Liberty cemetery, West Liberty, Pa. She is survived by her husband Reese Harris, in addition to the survivors already mentioned.
