Dorothy Hicks, wife of Lewis Hicks of Winterburn, was born September 1, 1858 
and died January 23, 1905, aged 46 years, 4 months and 22 days.  Deceased was 
the mother of eleven children, nine of whom are living.  Of this number five 
are married.  Mrs. Hicks was a faithful member of the Free Methodist church 
and enjoyed a strong Christian experience which made its influence felt on her 
family and all with whom she associated.  The funeral was held Thursday at 2 
p.m. from the church, her pastor, Rev. J.G. Kelly officiating.  The remains 
were laid to rest in the Penfield cemetery.  W.L. Joyce funeral director.
