I. F. Hoover, Calvin Johnson and J. L. Leberman, lumbermen 
from Clearfield county, this State, were recently drowned 
in the Pacific Ocean, off Tillsmoch, Oregon, by the 
swamping of a sailboat.  They were hunting for suitable 
timber land, which they proposed to purchase and engage 
extensively in the lumber business.
