Penfield Press, 29 Jul 1904
Amos Horning, mention of whose illness was made in these columns last week, 
died Monday evening.  He came to Penfield in the seventies and engaged in the 
hardware business.  He was a resident of the town from that time up until a 
few months ago, when he and Mrs. Horning went to make their home with a son in 
Emporium.  Deceased was eighty-three years old and is survived by a widow and 
two sons.  Interment at Emporium.
