He had been railroading but a short time and on Sunday last met an untimely death while performing his duty in the yards at Pittsburg. Just how the accident occurred will perhaps never be learned. His sudden demise caused great sorrow, not only among his relatives, but among his numerous companions. Those who knew him best loved him most. He was a genial young man about 24 years of age and had a host of friends throughout the valley who mourn his sudden demise. He was the main support of a widowed mother and his grandparents. The funeral was held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, burial in Bundy Cemetery. The floral tributes furnished by his young friends were very beautiful and appropriate.
