MRS. ANNIE KARCHER

Widow of Frank Karcher, died at the home of her sister, Mrs. Ida Wilson, 1110 
Seventeenth avenue, at 10 o'clock last night of heart disease.  She had been 
ailing for several years and had been bedfast only since last Thursday.  She 
was born May 1, 1854, and had resided at Coalport for a number of years.  She 
came to Altoona two weeks ago on a visit to her sister. Her husband died two 
years ago last September and she is survived by three children, Bertha, Paul 
and Harry of Akron, O.  She is also survived by two brothers and two sisters.  
She was a member of the Methodist church of Coalport.  Private funeral 
services will be conducted at the home of her sister at 7:30 o'clock Tuesday 
evening and on Wednesday morning the remains will be taken to Utahville for 
interment.
