Former Houtzdale Resident Expired at Altoona
     Alton Enos Kephart, 850 Waterloo Rd., Altoona, a former resident of 
Houtzdale, died at his home Monday night, May 9th after an extended illness.
     He was the son of Abraham and Charlotte (Kephart) Kephart and was born in 
Osceola Mills, June 19, 1857.  In July 1880, he married Miss Mary Patterson at 
Osceola Mills.
     Survive are his wife, 4 daughters, a brother and 4 sisters, 8 
grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren also survive.
     Mr. Kephart moved to Altoona 33 years ago and was employed by the 
Pennsylvania Railroad until her retired in 1937.
     Funeral services conducted last Thursday.
