Mrs. Barbara L. Kitchen died at her home in this place Monday morning after a 
short illness, aged 72 years.  The funeral took place Thursday afternoon from 
the Presbyterian church.  Grandma Kitchen, as she was familiarly known, had 
many friends in this section among both old and young, and the esteem in which 
she was held was attested to by the large concourse of people that assembled 
to pay the last sad tribute to her memory.
