KUHN, Winburne, 69 former resident of Clearfield died yesterday 9/25 in his home at Winburne. A complete obit and funeral arrangements will be published later. *************************************************************************** The Progress Newspaper Sep 27, 1961 Clair R. Kuhn funeral services will be held tomorrow at 4 PM from the Winburne Presbyterian Church for Clair R. Kuhn, Winburne resident who died at his home Monday at 10 PM after a 2 month illness. Rev. Graeme Siber and Rev. William Brown will officiate at services. Interment will be in the Philipsburg Cemetery. Friends may call at the Johnson Funeral Home at Grassflat until noon, Thursday, and at the church from 1 PM. Mr Kuhn was born at Mountainside, Pa, a son to George B. and Sarah (Jackson) Kuhn on Aug 11, 1902. He was an auditor and bookeeper and was employed in West Virginia for 40 years before returning to Clearfield 4 years ago where he was employed by the Dimeling Hotel as an auditor. He just recently moved to Winburne. The deceased was a member of the Clearfield Presbyterian Church and the Luther H. Clark Masonic Lodge of Northfork, W. VA. Surviving are his wife the former Elizabeth Kephart, a son William (Jacksonville, Fla) four grandchildren and two sisters, Mrs. Mildred Cramer (California) and Mrs Maida Dillenbeck.
