Clearfield Progress - January 17, 1998
Frances G. Lanich - HYDE - Mrs. Frances G. Lanich, 86, of Hyde and most 
recently a guest of the Mountain Laurel Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, 
Clearfield, died at the Center on Friday, Jan. 16, 1998.  

Born on October 8, 1911, in Wallaceton, she was the daughter of the late A. 
Howard and Tresa (Shugarts) Good.  Mrs. Lanich was a homemaker, a member of the 
Hyde Fire Co. Ladies Auxiliary and was Methodist by faith.  

She is survived by one daughter, Ann Taylor Hess of Hyde; three grandchildren, 
Raymond, Wayne and Sherry, two great grandchildren and two step-great-
grandchildren.  Also surviving are a brother David A. Good of San Diego, CA., 
and numerous nieces and nephews.  

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Wayne A. 
Lanich on Aug., 23, 1989, one sister and two brothers.  In accordance with Mrs. 
Lanich's wishes, there will be no visitation or funeral services.  Interment 
will be in the Centre Cemetery, Hyde.  The family suggests that memorial 
contributions be made to the Hyde Fire Co., PO Box 246, Hyde.

The father of Frances was Adam Howard Good the son of Margaret Grace Good and 
her mother was Tressa Dee Shugarts.  Her deceased sister was Ida Margaret Good 
Hess.
