Raftman's Journal 10-14-1857
Died - On the 9th, at the residence of his son-in-law, John Gulich., in this 
borough, Mr. Nathan Lawhead, Sr., aged 76.  

Additional Comments:
Nathan was from Lancaster County by way of Centre County and he was married to 
the former Catherine Ludwig (Ludwick)  They came to Clearfield County in 1833 
and settled in the borough of Clearfield.  Their daughter Hannah married John 
Frederick Gulich, with whom Nathan and Catherine spent their final years.  
They are buried in the old section of Hillcrest Cemetery.  
Nathan & Catherine were my gr-gr-grandparents.
