Clearfield Progress, August 8, 1930
Son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lawhead Dies in New York State
Stanley Lawhead, 14-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Raymond Lawhead of West 
Haverstraw, N.Y., died in the Nyack, N.Y., hospital Tuesday night, August 5th, 
at 9:50 o'clock.  Death followed an illness of two days and was attributed to 
the heat.  The body was shipped to Clearfield last night and taken to the home 
of the boy's uncle and aunt, Mr. and Mrs. J.D. Copenhaver of Lawrence 
Township.  Mrs. Copenhaver is a sister of Mr. Lawhead.  Funeral services will 
be held this afternoon in the Centre Church with the Rev. Garland C. Patterson 
officiating.  Interment in Centre Cemetery.

Additional Comments:
His parents were Raymond & Maude (Passmore) Lawhead and his brothers were 
Harold and Merle. Mrs. J.D. Copenhaver was the former Mabel Irene Lawhead.
