CYRUS LIDDICK DIES AT DAUGHTER'S HOME 4/23/1915 THE CLEARFIELD PROGRESS Mrs. Cyrus Liddick died at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Albert Lippart, at Krebs, Monday, April 19, at 2. P. M. Funeral services Thursday with short services at the house about 12:30 and at Paradise Baptist chapel at 2 P. M. Interment at Mt. Joy cemetery. Mrs. Lippart wishes to thank her many friends and neighbors for their kindness and assistance during the past weeks. The services will be in charge of Rev. Mecklem of First Baptist church, Clearfield, assisted (by request) by her pastor, Rev. Feltwell, of Calvary Baptist church of Altoona. Mrs. Liddick died of bronchitis and internal cancer, with which she had been afflicted for the past 16 years, during which time she had undergone two severe operations, which prolonged her life until the above date. Her maiden name was Aldora Bundy, she being a daughter of Freman Bundy (deceased), of Penfield, Pa. She was united in marriage to Cyrus Liddick, March 5, 1871, with whom she lived until his death on August 24, 1911, since which time she lived with her children; but has lived with her daughter, Nettie, since her marriage to Abert Lippart, April 8, 1914. She was a devoted Christian, for about 40 years, being a member of West Side M. E. church for many years, but had her membership transferred to Calvary Baptist church, of Altoona (while she was living with her son Welty), of which church she was still a member at her death. She was a kind and self sacrificing mother, and always insisting that her children take their mother's bible as their guides. Her many friends will be shocked to hear of her death, but many will recall her faith and devotion to God and her zeal that all might know and accept her Savior. Mrs. Aldora Liddick was born Aug. 22, 1852, and at her death was 62 years 7 months and 28 days old. She is survived by the following children: Welty S., of Altoona, Pa.; Alfred H., Mrs. Nettie Lippart, both of;Clearfield.
