Arrangements are under the direction of the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home in Penfield. DUBOIS (PA) COURIER-EXPRESS, Friday, Sept. 16, 2005 VENETIA ANN 'NINI' MANFREDO Venetia Ann "Nini" Manfredo, 49, East Scribner Ave., DuBois, died Tuesday at DuBois Regional Medical Center West. Born July 24, 1956, in Brockway, she was the daughter of Yola J. Amitrone Nolan of South Carolina and the late John M. Nolan. She was married to Joseph Manfredo April 18, 1980. He survives. She was a graduate of DuBois Central Catholic High School Class of 1974. She attended Penn State for four years. She worked as a claims representative for PMA Insurance Group in Ridgway. She was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in DuBois and served as a lector. She was a member of the DuBois Area Catholic Schools Board of Directors. She was a past commissioner of the DuBois Area Soccer Association. She was an avid reader and sports enthusiast. She is also survived by one son, Matthew Manfredo of DuBois; one daughter, Rachael Manfredo of DuBois; one brother, Sean Nolan of State College; three sisters, Teresa Matthews of DuBois; Michele Hosband of Port Matilda and Jacqueline Sanko of Reynoldsville; and numerous nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by an infant son, Alex Joseph Manfredo. MANFREDO: Venetia Ann "Nini", East Scribner Avenue, died Sept. 13, 2005. Friends will be received from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Friday and from 8:30-9:30 a.m. Saturday at the Ralph M. Geer Funeral Home in Penfield. Vigil will be at 4 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Joseph Catholic Church in Force with the Revs. Fr. Mark Swoger and Fr. Thomas Tyler co-officiating. Burial will be in St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery, Force. Memorial donations may be made to the Nini Manfredo Scholarship Fund, c/o DuBois Area Catholic Schools, DuBois, PA 15801.
