NEIGHBORHOOD NEWS

While Mr. John McCoy and wife of Beccaria township, Clearfield county, 
were driving home a few evenings ago from a visit to a sick neighbor 
some portion of the harness broke.  Mr. McCoy jumped out of the buggy 
but slipped and fell, his head striking a stone.  When he recovered 
from the brief stupor produced by the blow the horse and buggy were 
gone, but by the roadside he was horrified to find the dead body of 
his wife, who had either jumped out or been thrown out.
