Bradford (PA) Era, Mon, Oct. 16, 1972
George B. McCracken
   George B. McCracken, 79, of 46 Buchannan Hollow, died at 1 p.m. Sunday in 
the Bradford Hospital where he had been a patient since Sept. 20.
   He was born May 30, 1893 in Cibula [sic: Sabula], a son of Ross and Emily 
Dixon McCracken.  He married the former Dorothy Smith in Tyler on Dec. 24, 
1912.  Mr. McCracken was employed as a pumper for the South Penn Oil Co. 
before his retirement in 1968.  He was a member of the First Free Methodist 
Church.
   In addition to his wife, he is survived by a daughter, Mrs. Mildred Benson 
of Bradford; a son, Paul McCracken of Bradford; 21 grandchildren and several 
great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
   Friends may call after 7 p.m. today at the Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel.  
Funeral arrangements will be announced.

GEORGE B. MCCRACKEN
   George B. McCracken, 79, of 46 Buchannan Hollow, died Sunday in Bradford 
Hospital, where he had been a patient since Sept. 20.  Friends may call at the 
Hollenbeck Funeral Chapel after 3 p.m. today.  At 11 a.m. Wednesday, the body 
will be removed to the First Free Methodist Church.  The Rev. Ronald Tovey 
will officiate at the 1:30 p.m. funeral services at the church Wednesday, with 
burial following in Willow Dale Cemetery.
