The Progress, Clearfield,Pa
Smithmills-Robert McIntire,69,resident of Smithmills for past 18 yrs died in 
Philipsburg State Hospital. He was born June 6,1883 at Sharon, Pa. He is 
survived by his wife Martha(Thomas)McIntire and children:Thomas of 
Sykesville,Robert of Janesville,and Roy of Cleveland,Oh;Sarah (Carl)Richards 
of Ginter, Eleanor(Mike)Kost of Jersey City, NJ. Also 22 grandchildren. 
Funeral services held at the First Methodist Church of Smithmills, Wednesday 
2pm. Rev.John Kane,pastor. Interment:Sept 3,1952 Odd Fellows Cemetery at

Robert McIntire's parents: David and Christine(Cowan)McIntire.
Martha(Thomas)McIntire's parents: Isaac and Elizabeth(Morris) Thomas.
Both Robert and Martha McIntire are prior residents of Houtzdale. A daughter 
Christine not mentioned in obit died abt 1906.
