McIntyre Funeral Services for Pearl E. McIntyre, 90, of Euclid, will be 10 a.m., Thursday, March 27, 2008. at Davis-Babcock Funeral Home, 4154 Clark Ave., Willoughby. Mrs. McIntyre died Monday, March 24, 2008 at Grande Pointe Nursing Care in Richmond Heights. Born Aug 24, 1917, in Smith Mills, Pa., she lived most of her life in Richmond Heights, prior to moving to Euclid in 2003. Mrs. McIntyre had worked as a switchboard operator for 17 years at Richmond Heights Hospital. Survivors are her four daughters, Montrue Mandato of Willoughby, Patricia Monson of Newell, S.D., Kay Cardinal of Hudson, Wis., and Jackie Stokes of Euclid; sister Ethel Taylor of Ellwood City, Pa; nine grandchildren; fifteen great-grand children and two great-great-grand children. She was preceded in death by her husband, Roy McIntyre in 1978; parents Glen and Irene Robeson; and sister Dorothy Martin. Friends may call from 5 to 9 pm Wednesday at the funeral home Burial will be in Whitehaven Cemetery, in Mayfield Village,Ohio. The family suggests contributions be made to The Maplegrove Alliance Church, 36400 Maplegrove Road, Willoughby, Ohio 44094 Additional Comments: Parents: Glen and Irene Robeson; siblings Ethel and Dorothy Husband: Roy McIntire, parents Robert and Martha McIntire of Houtzdale and Smith Mills/Janesville. While Robert,Martha and children used the McIntire spelling, Pearl (Robeson) used the McIntyre spelling. It becomes challenging connecting the McIntires and McIntyres.
