Clearfield Progress November 29 1964
Ginter- William Morgan,89 of Ginter died Monday, Nov 27 at Clearfield.
Born at Ginter, Jan.24, 1878 he was a son of the late John and Mary (Goose)
Morgan. A lifelong resident of the Ginter area, Mr. Morgan was the last 
surviving member of his immediate family. He was preceded in death by two 
sisters and two brothers. He was a retired coal miner.
Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
Friends may call in the Birger A. Freeberg Funeral Home,Houtzdale after 4pm 
today. Funeral services will be held tomorrow in the funeral home in the 
charge of Rev. Merrill E. Barter. Interment will be in teh IOOF Cemetery at 
Brisbin.

*Obituary infers mother's maiden name is Goose. Mother's maiden name is Mary 
J. Higgins, dau of John Higgins and Ann M.(_)Higgins. Widow Ann M.Higgins with 
6 children remarried widow Abraham Goose, two young dau Jane and Martha. Abe 
Goose is the step-father. Following the death of William Morgan's father,John 
E. Morgan, his mother *Mary Higgins Morgan remarries John Minto. William 
Morgan's brothers: John and Harry. Sisters: Annie M.(Morgan) Hainsey and 
unknown.  William's aunt, Adelaide(Higgins)Richards is my grandmother;husband 
Wm. T. Richards. He is living with them in 1930 Census,Gulich Twp,Clearfield,Pa
