CHARLES MURRAY
BROCKWAY - Charles A. Murray, 85, of RD1, died Monday at his residence.
Born Nov. 8, 1909, in Falls Creek, he was a son of Charles D. and Florence 
Simpson Murray. He was married to Virginia M. Cole, who survives.
He was a member of the Moorhead United Methodist Church in Brockway. He was 
retired from a job as a self-employed painter and decorator. He was a long 
time artist and avid outdoorsman.
Survivors include his wife; one son, Thomas Murray of Brockway; two daughters, 
Mary Lou Riley of DuBois and Sally Murray of Brockway; two brothers, Gerald 
Murray and William "Bud" Murray, both of Falls Creek; four grandchildren; and 
four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.
MURRAY: Charles A., of RD1, Brockway, died Feb. 6, 1995. Friends will be 
received at the Carlson Funeral Home Inc. in Brockway from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. 
Tuesday. A funeral service will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday from the Moorhead 
United Methodist Church in Brockway with the Rev. Walter Hehman officiating. 
Burial will be in Morningside Cemetery in DuBois.
