Nolan, 69, RD, Liddle Road, died Monday at Montefiore Hospital, Pittsburgh. He was born May 17, 1926, in Pittsburgh, a son of the late John and Emily Eggleston Nolan. He was married to Yola Amitrone Nolan, who survives. He was a retired office manager at Central Volkswagen Garage. He was a World War II veteran, having served in the U.S. Navy. He was a member of the American Legion, the Elks and the Veterans of Foreign Wars. He enjoyed gardening and hunting. He was a member of St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, DuBois. He is also survived by four daughters, Mrs. Chip (Theresa) Matthews, RD2, DuBois, Michele Hassinger, Port Matilda, Mrs. Joseph (Venetia) Manfredo and Mrs. John (Jacqueline) Sanko, both of DuBois; a son, Sean Nolan, of State College; nine grandchildren; a brother, Francis Nolan, Holiday, Fla.; and a sister, Kathleen Harding, Holiday, Fla. He was also preceded in death by a grandson, Alexander Manfredo and a niece. NOLAN: John "Jack" M., RD, Liddle Road, DuBois, died July 31, 1995. Friends will be received Wednesday from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. and Thursday until service time at the Mohney-Yrager Funeral Chapel, Inc., DuBois, where a Wake Service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11 a.m. Thursday from St. Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, DuBois, with the Rev. Fr. James Kennelly as celebrant.
