CLEARFIELD PROGRESS, Clearfield, PA, October 2, 1967

MRS. ALICE OGDEN

Mrs. Alice Ogden, 79, widow of J. Bruce Ogden of Clearfield R. D. 1, 
died in the Rest Haven Convalescent Home at Curwensville Saturday 
afternoon, Sept. 30.

She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church, the Lutheran Church 
Women and Sunday School Class 3.

Born at Karthaus Dec. 28, 1887, a daughter of the late Henry and Lulu 
(Rhone) Fisher, she is survived by three daughters:  Mrs. John (Marian) 
Otto, Loyalhanna; Mrs. Howard (Jean) Gearhart and Mrs. Gilbert (Edna) Cowder, Clearfield.

The following sisters and brothers survive:  Mrs. J. L. (Beth) Gilliland, 
Denver, Colo.; Mrs. Julia Lawrence, Albany, N.Y.; Ward Fisher, Bellefonte; 
Russell Fisher, Clinton, N.J.

There are also five grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. today in the Bennett Funeral Home.  The 
Rev. Vernon J. Miller officiated and interment was in Centre Cemetery at Hyde.
