Clearfield Progress  January 14, 1928
             Another Civil War Vet Called

     George Washington Ogden, one of the oldest and most highly respected 
residents of the Mt. Joy section  of Lawrence County and member of the pioneer 
family of that name passed away this morning at 6 o'clock at his comfortable 
farm home near Mt. Joy church in the 86th year of his age.
     The deceased had been in failing health for a long time, complication 
incident to advanced years being responsible for his death.
     He was a veteran of the civil war and his funeral will be military and in 
charge of the American Legion.  Internment will be made at Mt. Joy cemetery.
