Altoona Mirror  April 1, 1980
Ruth E. Pearson, 57, of 505 Logan Ave., Lakemont, died at 10:20 a.m. Friday, 
March 28, 1980, in Altoona Hospital, following an extended illness.  Mrs. 
Pearson retired as a nurse's aide.  She was born Feb. 20, 1923, in Wallaceton, 
Clearfield County, the daughter of John and Bertha (Williams) Emeigh, and in 
1942, married John B. Pearson.  Surviving are her husband, two children, 
Dennis of Pittsburgh and Mrs. Jean Baxter of Erie; two grandchildren and seven 
brothers and sisters, Mrs. Genivieve Stratton and Mrs. Violet Shoffner of 
Philipsburg, Donald in Georgia, Paul of Allport, Leroy and James of Wallaceton 
and Mrs. Mary Weitosh of Winburne.  Interment was made in Philipsburg.  
Arrangements by the David K. Dahlgren Funeral Home. Philipsburg.
