The funeral of Charles Peary was held Tuesday afternoon, from the home of his 
sister, Mrs. Simon Kephart.  The service was conducted by Rev. S. T. Lewis and 
interment made in Umbria cemetery. Deceased was about 59? or 69? years of age 
and made his home with his sister, Mrs. Fannie Hobba.  In addition to the above 
named sisters that survive him, another, Mrs. Rose Carroll, of South Dakota, 
and one brother Willard, of Tyrone.  While "Doc," as he was familiarly
known, did not have much grip upon things material he had a firm grasp upon 
things spiritual and was strong in his faith of a personal Saviour.
