CLEARFIELD (PA) PROGRESS, December 23, 1974

EDWARD R. PERKS

Edward Robert Perks, 70, of 220 Turnpike Ave., Clearfield, died early Sunday 
morning at the Clearfield Hospital.

A son of Harry R. and Sarah (Renwick) Perks, he was born on May 21, 1904 in 
Clearfield County.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Lawson and Norman.

He was a member of the Clearfield BPOE Lodge, Clearfield Fire Co. No. 1, and 
St. Andrews Episcopal Church.

He is survived by his wife, Robie (Myers) Perks of Clearfield; two daughters, 
Mrs. William (Dorothy) Coxey and Mrs. Richard (Margaret) Freeman, both of 
Clearfield; and four grandchildren.

He is also survived by two brothers: Jack of Bellefonte and Max of Chester 
Hill; and one sister, Mrs. Henry (Bette) Black of Osceola Mills.

A funeral will be held Tuesday, Dec. 24 at 11 a.m. from St. Andrews Episcopal 
Church in Clearfield. The Rev. Thomas Russell will officiate. Interment will 
be in Crown Crest Memorial Park.

Friends may call at the Fred B. Leavy Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. 
today.

Elks memorial services will be held at 7:30 p.m. today at the funeral home.
