PICCIRILLO
   
Helen K. Piccirillo, 86, Christ the King Manor, DuBois, formerly of Brockway 
and Ridgway, died Tuesday at the manor.

Born Dec. 23, 1920, in Ridgway, she was the daughter of the late Adolph and 
Barbara Ann Kusnierz Bomba. She was married to Carmen F. Piccirillo. He 
preceded her in death April 9, 2006.

She was a member of St. Tobias Catholic Church in Brockway and the Catholic 
Daughters of America.

She worked at the former Keystone Hardware in Ridgway before retiring.

She was an avid reader and enjoyed playing cards, bingo and spending time with 
her family.

She is survived by two sons, Francis Piccirillo of Aurora, Ohio, and David 
Piccirillo of DuBois; four daughters: Barbara Varischetti and Mrs. Gary (Ann) 
Cristini, both of Brockway, Mrs. Thomas (Kathleen) Shaw of Erie and Joette 
Derricks of Treasure Lake, DuBois; one brother, Ted Bomba of Ridgway; two 
sisters, Florence Brunner of Ridgway and Marcella Petruzzi of Brockway; 16 
grandchildren; and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by four brothers: Stanley, Joe, John and Henry 
Bomba; and one sister, Barbara Allegretti.

PICCIRILLO: Helen K., Christ the King Manor, DuBois, died Oct. 23, 2007. 
Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. Friday at the Carlson-Shugarts Funeral 
Home in Brockway. Vigil will be at 8:45 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. A 
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at St. Tobias 
Catholic Church in Brockway with the Rev. Msgr. Charles Kaza officiating. 
Burial will be in Parklawn Memorial Gardens, Ridgway. Memorial donations may 
be made to DuBois Regional Medical Center Hospice, 101 Hospital Ave., DuBois, 
PA 15801; Christ the King Manor; or a charity of the donor's choice.
