Charles R. Quade
Houtzdale- Funeral services for Charles R. Quade, 62, of Houtzdale, will be 
held Monday, Aug. 25, 2008, at 2 p.m. at Heath Funeral Home, Osceola Mills, 
with the Rev. Robert Ford officiating.  Mr. Quade died Friday, Aug. 22, at 
12:55 a.m. at Clearfield Hospital. Interment will be at Reidy Cemetery, 
Wallaceton. Friends will be received at the funeral home Monday, Aug. 25, from 
noon until the hour of services. Born Jan. 2, 1946 at Niagara Falls, N.Y., he 
was a son of Donald and Jennie (Skinner) Quade. He was a member of Houtzdale 
Methodist Church. Mr. Quade was a retired truck driver. On June 22, 1985, at 
Glen Richey, he wed Wanda (Conklin) Quade, who survives at Houtzdale. In 
addition to his wife, he is survived by three sons, Charles R. Quade, Jr. of 
Bellefonte, Wilbert A. Quade of Curwensville and Charles M. Quade of 
Houtzdale; five sisters, Patricia Harris and her companion, George Bouch, of 
LaJose, Mildred Lykins and her husband, Bill, of West Virginia, Helen Arnold 
and her husband, Robert, of Madera and Jennie Ball and her husband, Bill, and 
Sandy and her husband, Dennis, all of Houtzdale; and five brothers, Robert 
Quade and Alfred Quade, both of Niagara Falls, Donald Quade of Philipsburg, 
Dennis Quade and his wife, Joan, of Frenchville and Gordon of Clearfield. He 
was preceded in death by his parents and a sister, Donna Jakubowski. The 
family suggests that memorial contributions be made to heath Funeral Home, 
P.O. Box 157, Osceola Mills, PA 16666.
